MODERN VIKING AXE is a fully mobile axe throwing and archery range based in South Jordan, Utah that comes to your location of choice. (Destination fees may apply--see below for details*)
We are Utah's largest mobile axe throwing range and the first International Axe Throwing Federation (IATF) approved mobile unit in Utah, now offering up to 4 axe targets, 4 archery targets, and 2 Mjölnir Slá stumps. Our unique set up also makes us the most versatile and flexible for your location. We have set up inside gymnasiums, indoor basketball courts, on driveways, the grass at parks, company parking lots, inside the Salt Palace, the Mountain America Expo center, and many other venues that do not allow direct vehicle access. Having said that, if we will be setting up anywhere that is a difficult to reach or an unpaved location, we will need to know before hand, and it may require a special quote. We are happy to talk through the details with you.
The most important thing is that your location is flat and level and can accommodate the following space requirements:
2 Target Axe Range:
Requires min. 22' L x 8' W x 11' H space
4 Target Axe Range:
Requires min. 22' L x 16' W x 11' H space
*We are based in South Jordan, UT and have a standard travel radius of 5 miles shown here, which gets us almost anywhere in the south end of Salt Lake valley included as part of our standard packages. We are happy travel further (including Utah, Davis, Weber, Summit counties, etc.) for an additional travel fee based on distance and time required. Starting @ $750
*plus tax and travel fee outside standard travel radius
2 Targets for 2 Hour Event
Includes set-up, tear-down, and a coach for the duration. The coach will run games or facilitate open axe throwing. Leaderboards, tournaments, and/or prizes can be added.
Starting @ $1450
*plus tax and travel fee outside standard travel radius
4 Targets for 3 Hour Event
Now we're getting serious! Add two more targets to double the fun and make sure everyone finds their inner Viking before the day is done.
$150 / $250 per hour for 2 or 4 targets
Additional Hourly Rate
Need more time to have more throwers cycle through, or just want to throw axes longer? No problem. Add however much more time you need to the standard packages.
